Welcome to North Star Karate!
Our goal at North Star Karate is to provide a friendly and fun atmosphere while introducing our students to the world of Martial Arts.
Our Head Instructor is Sensei Rick Osborn. All students and parents should refer to him as Mr. Osborn, Sensei or “sir” at all times. Mr. Osborn, in return, will refer to his students as Mr /Ms or ma’am/sir. This one important rule will help to set a tone of mutual respect.
Our student’s comfort is important to us. If, at anytime, a student is not comfortable with attempting what they are to do, they should politely let their instructor know. Progression through belt levels will vary depending on a student’s comfort level and their commitment to practicing hard.

Testimonials
Since not every attack can be warded off with kicking and punching techniques, the combination of Bushido, Aikido and Jiu Jitsu offers a well rounded training. If you are just starting to investigate your martial arts options, I highly suggest asking more about what Bushido-Ryu can offer you.
